Digital Media Production
Jacob worked as a videographer and video editor for the YouTube channel LMK Sports and currently co-owns and operates J&M Captures, a professional photography and videography company. He has produced a variety of video types, including promotional films, travel videos, and personal vlog content. His video editing is done in Apple's Final Cut Pro X, and graphics are created in Motion 5. He is also fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) as well as Microsoft Office. Check out some highlights below.

Elk City, Kansas: Travel Video
The LMK Sports team wanted to showcase the lesser known yet stunning destinations right in their home state of Kansas. This travel video to Elk City State Park combines elements of humorous vlogging and cinematic displays of the beautiful sights the park had to offer.
Basketball World Record
Matthew Foster unofficially broke the world record for the longest blindfolded basketball shot, and this video offers an up-close perspective of the event. This video was picked up by Fox 4 in Kansas City and broadcast on their evening news on May 7th, 2020.
Board Game Design
This is the game board design for the original board game "Art Gallery." Crated in Illustrator, the design is based on the visual aesthetic of pen-and-ink drawings, and uses a simple greyscale color scheme, allowing for the colored pieces to be at the forefront of gameplay.
Personal Advertisment
This is an advertisement for my guitar studio. The headline is attention grabbing and conveys a central message of teaching and enjoyment to the audience. The formatting was kept simple, and important information (price and contact info) is emphasized using white text to draw the eye to it. The silhouette of a Rickenbacker guitar in the background adds both visual interest and stresses the purpose of the advertisement.
Photo Colorization/Restoration
Black and white photo colorization and restoration is one specialty of mine in Adobe Photoshop. Seeing old photographs in realistic color brings them to life, and lets the viewer relive old memories. This is a sample of colorization work I did for a family member in 2019.
