JOHN LENNON IMPERSONATION
As an avid enthusiast (well, maybe addict...) of The Beatles and their music, part of Jacob's musical goal is to keep the music of The Beatles alive for generations to come, and to allow new listeners to discover what it might have been like to see The Beatles live. Jacob has studied the character of John Lennon down to the most minute of details. Nothing is overlooked in his portrayal, from Lennon's tight rhythm guitar playing to his Liverpudlian accent and powerful rock and roll vocal style. Jacob has a growing collection of Lennon instruments, and uses the Epiphone Casino, Epiphone EJ-160e, and his custom "Beatlebacker" guitar in heavy rotation. POPULAR MUSIC PERFORMANCE
In addition to playing the music of The Beatles, Jacob enjoys playing other forms of popular music from blues to classic rock to 80s pop. His current group Distant Planets performs a variety of music from the 50s through the 90s.
